Acrylic boardOriginating from English, it is made from acrylic monomer (granules or liquid) MMA polymerization. In terms of application, it can be divided into: advertising materials, decorative materials, and craft materials.

Advantages of acrylic board:

Acrylic is a new type of material that can manufacture sanitary ware after ceramics. Compared with traditional ceramic materials, acrylic has the following advantages in addition to its unparalleled high gloss: good toughness, not easy to break; strong repairability, just use soft foam dipped in toothpaste to wipe the sanitary ware clean; soft texture, no cold and piercing feeling in winter; bright colors, meeting different tastes.

Disadvantages:

Due to the high production difficulty and cost of acrylic boards, there are many low-quality and cheap substitutes on the market. These substitutes are also called "acrylic," but they are actually ordinary organic boards or composite boards (also known as sandwich boards). Ordinary organic boards are made from ordinary organic glass cracking materials mixed with pigments, with low surface hardness, easy to fade, and poor polishing effect after being sanded with fine sand.

Composite boards only have a very thin layer of acrylic on the surface, with ABS plastic in the middle, which is prone to delamination due to thermal expansion and contraction during use. The authenticity of acrylic can be identified from the subtle color differences and polishing effects of the board's cross-section.
